Property register • The whole country split in 113 regions. • RA has an office in every region. • All documents, related to property ownership, legal rights, mortgages and injunction are registered • For locations where cadastral maps are available registration process involves Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency (responsible for creation and maintenance of cadastral maps) ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg

  6. Registration process and data quality • Previous Situation • 4 different software solutions used • Most of the data is unstructured • The quality of data is not good enough (poor descriptions of properties, multiple duplicates, etc.) • Handling with old paper documents in bad conditions

Integration With GCCA Situation before • Two separate data sets in Registry Agency and Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency that do not match • Multiple discrepancies related to shared data (legal rights, person and property descriptions, etc.) ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg

Integration With GCCA The New System • Integration with GCCA ensures that data from RA is accessible to GCCA when cadastral map is created • Integration with GCCA ensures that GCCA data is available to RA during the process of act registration • Data discrepancies will be gradually fixed in the regions where cadastral maps are available ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg

  13. Data migration • All data from 4 legacy systems migrated • This data is available for reports and as a basis for future creation of property lots • This includes: • 6689086 properties • 6270222 acts ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg

  14. Interfaces with other systems • The new solution provides access to information to external systems in the form of: • Notifications for changes • Queries for property lots • Interfaces implemented with SOAP web services ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg

  15. Usage of the new system • Since 8.September when the gradual rollout started, there are: • 570291 documents registered • 580134 reports • 225806 certificates ___________________________ www.RegistryAgency.bg
