  3. Year 1 Activities (10/1/09 – 09/30/10) • $82,687 Total Expended on Financial Assistance Payments • $35,648 utilized for Security Deposits • 298 Adults/Households Assisted with Financial Payments • 606 Total Customers Served including 308 children

  4. Lessons Learned • Just over 50% of the children in households receiving services were between the ages of 0 and 6 • Demand for program assistance and financial services is far greater than availability • Security Deposit Utilization increased with closing of DSS Security Deposit Program • Staff training and support for data entry, and customer service a key for success
