  5. Web address to access EMResource http://emresource.emsystem.com • Use Caution! • Saving to Favorites • Do not save WW1-7 type addresses • Do not save addresses with “demo-”

  6. Login to EMResource • Username and password are case sensitive

  7. Requesting a Login to EMResource • Login with User Name – FL2NEWUSER • Password – FL2NEWUSER

  8. Requesting a Login to EMResource • Click on the “New User” link to access the form

  9. Requesting a Login to EMResource • Complete all of the fields in the “User ID Request Form”

  10. Requesting a Login to EMResource • Once all fields are complete click on the “Submit Form” button

  11. Requesting a Login to EMResource • Request will go to State / Regional administrator • You will be contacted with your user id and initial password • Upon first login you will be required to change your password

  17. Updating a Facility status Two ways to update a facilities status • Click on the set of keys in the left column • Click on the individual status

  18. Clicking on the keys will open the status’

Clicking on keys continued: • Selecting a category will open up the status selection area • “Select All” for status’ to open up all of them for your user id • Select the proper status for that category • Some status’ require numeric values (Saturation scores) • Some status’ have a multiple choice selection • Update the proper categories • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save” • Forced update at 0800 and 2000 for specific status’ • To update “forced” status’ – click on the individual status and update

  23. Automatic status updates • When an automatic (required/overdue) update is required, a status must be entered before continuing into the program. • An audible message stating “Please update status” can be heard along with the following popup that will appear on the your screen.

  26. Selecting your hospital name will open up the Resource Detail View

  28. Selecting the Edit Resource Details button allows editing of your hospital information

  29. Selecting a single status allows you to update that status

  30. Events –F/R Admin and Dispatch create the events • Used to notify other facilities of a situation and/or to ask for information • Examples • BOLO’s (Be on the look out) from Law Enforcement • MCI’s • Severe Weather Situations • Amber Alerts • Evacuations • Major events impacting in or around your facility • A colored banner will appear across the top of the screen indicating the type of event • Click on the event to open and update any requested information

Mapping • Can be used as a quick reference to check on the status of surrounding resources • May include helicopters status and/or location. • Dependent on how your region is set up • To access the map • Hover over “View” in the tool bar • Scroll down and select “Map” • Go to “Resource Types” filter and unselect the “Select All” button • Select the resource you want to view i.e. Hospitals, Aeromedical • You can zoom in/out of the map view • The colors of each resource represent their Status in EMResource
