  2. Cain’s Admonition • God admonished Cain, Gen. 4:7 • If you do well, will you not be accepted • If you do not do well, sin lies at the door • Its desire is for you, but you should rule over it

  11. Cain’s Admonition If you do not do well, sin lies at the door • One sin will lead us to another • Fear of men – abandon the Lord, false religion • Lust of flesh – sexual immorality, betrayal • Covetousness – theft, blind eye to evil • Pride – lies about our good deeds

  12. Cain’s Admonition Its desire is for you…you should rule over it • God warned Cain • Told Cain he had a choice • Cain chose to let sin rule over him
