Women’s Impact Network – Core Mission WIN’s core mission is to “make a significant impact in New Hanover County” Founded in 2011, WIN is a collective giving group of philanthropic women committed to learning about, and making a difference in, NHC WIN awards grants to non-profit organizations in 4 Areas of Giving: Education, Health & Wellness, Environment, Arts & Culture

Establish the supporting structures, systems, tools and processes to enable WIN, as an independent entity, to sustainably achieve our goal of making a significant impact in NHC Key Goals • Regularly Engage & Listen to Members • Define and Empower Committees • Address Member Interests • Recruit and Retain Members, Increasing the Focus on Diversity • Professionalize and Improve the Grants Process • Develop and Implement CommunicationTools • Professionalize membership and financial management through Wild Apricot • Move from meeting minimum legal requirements to best practice

Financials • 3Q Snapshot as of 10/31/2020 • Financial Discipline: • Increased split from $500 to $510 • Transferred $4,640 surplus operating funds to Grants • Lower expenses offset by zero 2020 luncheon sponsorship profit • Dec/Jan/Feb = critical renewal period • 60% of members renew • Activate 100-day plan for renewals, recruiting, funding • Feb 28 is cutoff for 2021 grant pool
