  2. Tumble Blasting Brass Service companies that repair used equipment need to clean various parts prior to re- assembling the equipment. These brass parts (before and after pictures below) are part of a system that processes hot water. Over time the water leaves deposits of salts and scale on the surface of the fittings. The deposits can be removed using abrasive blasting often resulting in a surface that looks like new. While large parts would require blasting one at a time, large quantities of smaller parts (even 2-3 pound parts like these) can be cleaned in a tumble blast system. These parts were tumble blasted with Coarse Glass Beads for only 20 minutes at 80 psi. The parts came out of the process clean and bright.
