  1. Come and visit Split, the most beautiful city in the world Dora Mekinić 8.d

  2. General • Split is a center of Dalmatia, geographical and cultural. • It’s situated on the shore of the Adriatic Sea. • It’s the second biggest town in Croatia, and its population is 463676. • The climate is Mediterranean.

  3. ABOUT SPLIT • Split is old and modern too. • It has a historic complex with the Palace of Diocletian and modern new part of Split. • There are a lot of beaches, parks, historical sites and old buildings. • It’s famous for the already mentioned Palace of Diocletian, beach Bačvice, park Marjan and good night life. • The people in Split are very kind and friendly, but they are lazy and most of them don’t speak English well, unfortunately. • Teenagers can do a lot of things and have really good fun - they can swim, dive, water-ski… Adults can have fun too, but I don’t know their interests, so I can’t recommend anything.

  4. WHAT CAN YOU DO?

  5. YES OR NO? • I like Split very much, but it has its bad sides such as any other town. • Good sides: clean Adriatic Sea, nice beaches, a lot of parks, beautiful historic city…. • Bad sides: poor public transport, lack of green areas, locals don’t speak English… • But as you can see, there are more good than bad sides and I think that Split is a very attractive destination, because it’s still undiscovered and peaceful.
