  2. BTFC - Investing in Football Coaching It is our COMMITMENT as a club to ensure that all fees collected by the club and its teams are re-invested in Football. This ensures our children can expect the best possible resources, facilities and equipment that we can possibly procure. Other than our players, our clubs most valuable assets are the volunteers who agree to devote their time to coach our young players. We value this commitment so highly we commit to financially supporting all coaches committed to progressing on the ‘Coaching Pathway’. We are not an football academy, but we strive to have academy standard coaching. All coaches committed to self-improvement for the benefit of our players can expect the full support of the club.

  6. How to Progress on the ‘Coaching Pathway’ To ANYONE who wants to start or progress on the Coaching Pathway, please; • Find the appropriate course for you: http://www.thefa.com/GetIntoFootball/FALearning/FALearningPages/local-courses • Send email to Bengeo Tigers FDO at footballdevelopment@bengeotigers.org.uk detailing; • Name • Age Group you wish to coach • Current Football Coaching Qualifications (if any) • Name, date and cost of course you wish to attend • FDO will review the application and based on its validity* will seek to approve the request • Coach will book the course online and provide the FDO with the electronic receipt showing proof of payment • Club will refund the coach his/her costs within 28 days *BTFC IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE. ALL APPLICATIONS FOR COURSES WILL BE CONSIDERED, IRRESPECTIVE OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY, PAST EXPERIENCE OR ABILITY. However, The club wants to ensure that any course we pay for is for the benefit of the club, its players and the coach in question. The coach must agree in writing that they will stay at the club in a coaching capacity for a minimum of 2 years from the point they take their last course. If the coach were to leave during that time (for example to take their child to another club) they would agree to pay back the money granted by the club, in full. If the coach believes there are external reasons that forces them to leave a club (for example, relocation) the BTFC Committee will consider the merits of whether repayment of the grant is required
