  1. Magazine of 1965 Figure sports April 8, 1965 Top songs in 1965 Our president in 1965 $12

  2. Top 10 songs from 1965 • I can’t help myself (Four Tops) • Sugar pie, honey bunch you know that I love you. I can’t help myself. I love you and nobody else. In and out my life. You come and you go. Leaving just your picture behind. And I kissed it a thousand times. When you snap your finger or wink your eye. I come a-running to you. I tied to your apron strings. And there’s nothing that I can do. Can’t help myself. No, I can’t help myself. Sugar pie, honey bunch. I’m weaker than a man should be. I can’t help myself. I’m a fool in love you see. Wanna tell you I don’t love you. Tell you that we’re through. And I’ve tried but every time I see your face. I get all choked up inside. When I call your name. girl, it starts the flame. Burning in my heart, tearing it all apart. No, matter how I try, my love I cannot hide. Cause sugar pie, honey bunch. you know that I’m weak for you. Can’t help myself. I love you and nobody else. I can’t help myself.

  3. u.s. president in 1965 (Lyndon b. Johnson) • Lyndon B. Johnson was born near Stonewall, Texas, on August 27, 1908, in a small farmhouse on the Pedernales River. He lost a great deal of their liberal support. He tried to convince Walter Reuther not to initiate a strike just prior the 1964 election. The Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP) was organized with the purpose of challenging Mississippi’s all-white and anti-civil rights. Many did Americans did like because he lead everything to violence.

  4. I dream of jeannie • Cast (characters); Jeannie, captain/major Anthony “Tony” Nelson, captain/major Roger Healey, Colonel Dr. Alfred Bellows, Emmaline Henry. • Genre: comedy • Jeannie is a 2000-year-old genie who eventually married a astronaut, who also is her master • My opinion is that it sound funny, magical, and romantic.

  5. Wilt Chamberlain • Wilt was playing basketball, his average was 50 points a game. Nobody could stop this dominant 7’ 2” player. With those features combined, you have a strong player just standing there in your way of the hoop. He accomplish being the greatest basketball player to score 100 points in a single game. Chamberlain was handed his second MVP award. In that season, the center again dominated his opposition by scoring 33.5 points and 24.6 rebounds a game, leading the league in both categories. Quotes: “games for sissies”

  6. Being a teenager in 1965 • Life would be dangerous and hard cause there was war in the united states. But they invited crazed kid toys and the skateboard and fashion changed on women’s dress by making them from dresses to skirts and men by making their hair grew longer. And people were forbidden to smoke cigarettes it turned into a big no no. they invented the internet and TV.

  7. Four advisements in 1965 • “Come and eat our first McDonald's restaurant for a burger only 15 cents”! • “ Come on down, come on down! Wear some real clothes at my store”! • “Wanna watch some tight and tuff movies? Then watch these bad boys”! • “Cars, cars get em while they’re still tuff and hot”!

  8. Editorial (my opinion on 1965) • What I learned from the year 1965 is that there was a war on civil rights, who was our president, how drugs were illegal, and how people dressed. I also learned that the first McDonalds' restaurant was build and open and a burger cost 15 cents. People had some movies in color and they made a new Frankenstein movie also in color. They invented the internet and TV. I thought life was hard cause of the war there, but cool cause you watch movies in a driveway and burgers cost 15 cents. The clothes look kind of uninteresting and dull, but look comfortable. The movies look romantic, funny, and scary. The cars look tuff. The TV shows must be great. There are sport stars who work hard to achieve their goals. I think life in 1965 is hard, dull, but maybe a little interesting.
