  2. A jaw crusher is a compression type crusher combined of a fixed jaw and moving jaw situated in a “V” shaped. The movable jaw pushes material against the fixed jaw, crushing the material to the desired size. The material gets out from the jaw through the bottom of the crusher otherwise, known as the discharge opening. Changing the discharge opening controls the product size made by the crusher. A jaw crusher’s flywheel, toggle plates, pitman, eccentric shaft, and driving motor generate the crushing action and supply the energy needed to break the material. Parts Details: Jaw crushers are ideally suited for crushing of Hard Granite Stone, Black Trap Rock, River Gravel Limestone, Coal etc. Body: Body is made from best quality tested M.S. plate welded fabricated construction. Crank Shaft:Crank shaft is made of alloy steel En9, En’19-hardened – tempered and precision machined to fit heavy duty spherical roller bearings (Ensure proper greasing daily). Swinging Lever: The swinging lever (Pitman) is made of steel casting with high tensile strength and is precision machined for smooth crushing stone. Jaw Plates: The jaw plates are made of high tensile manganese steel of Grade- 3. One Side Plates fixed and the other jaw is fitted on swinging lever. The side plates are of close fitting type which prevents wear & tear to the main body. jaw is Lubrication: Roller grease is used as lubricant in bearings to ensure smooth working.
