  4. LC-100-PI — Overview • Description • Ideal for residential applications, the LC-100-PI motion detector, offers reliable detection in a slim design. The LC-100-PI also provides pet immunity up to 25kg. • Features • Pet immunity function (up to 25kg/55lbs) • Digital Signal Analysis • Quad Linear Imaging • Form ‘A’ contact • Sensitivity adjustment • Variable pulse width adjustment • Tamper Output • LED Indicator

  5. LC-100-PI — Overview • Specifications • Detection Method: Quad Element PIR • Operating Voltage: 8.2-16 Vdc • Current Draw: 10mA (maximum) • Warm Up Duration: 55-65 seconds • Temperature Compensation: Yes

LC-100-PI — Installation • Mounting Location • When mounting the LC-100-PI, choose a location that is most likely to intercept the intruder. • Avoid the following when mounting the LC-100-PI as the operation of the detector may be affected: • Do not mount facing direct sunlight • Do not mount facing areas subject to rapid temperature changes • Do not mount in areas with air ducts or substantial air flow

  7. LC-100-PI — Terminals Terminals 1 & 2 (T2,T1) – Tamper (NC/COM): An open condition will be generated on these terminals when the cover is removed from the device.

  8. LC-100-PI — Terminals Terminals 3 & 4 (NC/C) – Alarm Contact (NC/COM): These terminals will be triggered when the device is placed into alarm.

  9. LC-100-PI — Terminals Terminal 5 (EOL) – End of Line Option: This terminal is used as a connection point for the resistor and zone wire when the control panel is configured for end-of-the-line resistors.

  11. LC-100-PI — Jumper Configurations • Pulse Count Jumpers • These jumpers are used to configure the LC-100-PI according to the general installation environment. The following three settings are available: • Very stable environment (No pet) • Moderate nuisance situation (With pet up to 15Kg) • Harsh environment (With pet up to 25Kg)

LC-100-PI — Additional Adjustments LED Jumper LED Enabled LED Disabled Pet Immunity Jumper Pet up to 15kg Pet up to 25kg Sensitivity Adjustment This potentiometer is used to adjust the detector according to the protected area range between 68% and 100% (default set to 84%). Rotate the potentiometer clockwise/counter-clockwise to increase/decrease the range.

LC-101 – Additional Adjustments PIR Sensitivity Potentiometer The LC-101 has an on-board potentiometer (or adjustment) for minor sensitivity adjustments of the PIR detector (adjustable between 68% and 100%). Turning the potentiometer clockwise will increase the detection sensitivity, turning it counter-clockwise will reduce the detection sensitivity. Audio Volume Potentiometer This potentiometer is used to adjust the output volume of the LC-101.

LC-102-PIGBSS — Glassbreak Operation • Glassbreak Operation: • The glassbreak detector on the LC-102-PIGBSS will go into alarm when either of the following is detected: • Infrasonic Event • Glassbreak Event • Infrasonic Event • An infrasonic event occurs at the point of impact on the glass prior to it breaking. It consists of a series of low level frequencies. • Glassbreak Event • A glassbreak event occurs when the glass breaks. It consists of a series of high level frequencies.

LC-102-PIGBSS — Glassbreak Sensitivity Adjustment Infrasonic Adjustment Step 1: Set the ‘to jumper to ‘SHOCK TEST’ Step 2: Gently tap on the protected glass and adjust the ‘Shock Sensitivity Adjustment’ potentiometer until both the RED and GREEN LED’s illuminate each time the glass is hit. Glassbreak Adjustment Step 1: Set the to jumper to ‘GLASS TEST’

  37. LC-102-PIGBSS — Glassbreak Sensitivity Adjustment Glassbreak Adjustment (continued) Step 2: Operate the AFT-100 Glassbreak Tester at various points near the protected glass. Adjust the ‘Shock Sensitivity Adjustment’ potentiometer until both the RED and YELLOW LED’s illuminate each time the simulator is activated. Note: After completing all adjustments, place the jumper to the ‘NORMAL’ setting for regular operation.

  41. LC-103-PIMSK — Overview • Description • The LC-103-PIMSK dual technology motion detector combines both microwave and passive infrared sensors.
