  3. E85 • 85% Ethanol • 15% Gasoline

  4. Biodiesel • Uses no Petroleum • Can be mixed with Diesel fuel • Pure biodiesel can only be used in diesels (Biodiesel 2010)

  5. Biodiesel • Clean burning • Renewable • Biodegradable

  6. Hydrogen • More efficient then combustion (US Department of Energy n.d.) • Can be created using any fuel source

  7. Electric cars • Can be charged over night • Can fast charge

  8. Electric Vehicles • Mostly charged on off peak hours (Motovalli 2010) • The infrastructure is already there

  9. Why use them? • Reduce pollution • Less dependant on a non renewable energy source
