  2. Phases and examples of exercises: • MOTIVATION: starting from students’ previous knowledge, some definitions have been built; • MATCHING: specific lexis to be linked to its definition; • CROSSWORD: ludic activities involve actively students,and make them learn things easily;

  3. Phases and examples of exercises(2) • WORK IN PROGRESS: using a mute map, students had to write the right terms in their place; • SUMMARIZING A TEXT after filling in its blanks, to reinforce the main linguistic competences, now complete and complex!

  4. CLIL methodology, that is to say: Geography theme in English, by both teachers; Students and teachers interacting in English; Developing linguistic and communicative competences; Improving relationship with others. WHAT DID STUDENTS SAY ABOUT THE ACTIVITY? Interesting and useful; Made both Geography and English learning easier and more attractive; Made group work and cooperative work efficient methods to produce something. METHODOLOGY….and….whatdid students learn?

  5. FINAL EVALUATION TEST • Matching exercises; • Fill in the blanks exercises; • Reading and analyzing a map exercises;

  6. Students’ feedback • “It was really interesting to learn Geography in a foreing language” • “I could improve my linguistic competences, as far as understanding, reading and producing are concerned” • “At first I was puzzled, but then I could manage to understand teachers and tasks to do”
