  4. Conference • The first major Grid conference in Russia, hosted by Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), has been hailed a success. The conference, distributed Computing and Grid-technologies in Science and Education, took place in Dubna, Russia, between 29 June and 2 July and attracted more than 200 participants from Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovakia, Armenia, Germany, Czech Republic and Belarus. Language – Russian with some materials in English. http://www.gridclub.ru Web-site includes dissemination materials on Grid technologies, projects, middleware.
