  2. A Mother’s Day Prayer By George Ryder Today, dear God, Is Mother’s Day, So for these gifts For her I pray: Good health and joy Throughout each day; Please bless her, God, In every way. Amen.

  3. An important connection that reminds me of how I came to be me

  4. I’m sure it’s hard to imagine that I was once small, helpless, and completely dependent on someone else,

  5. but I was.

  6. And that someone else was you, Mom.

  7. As I build my foundation,

  8. You have taught me very useful things.

  9. You have taught me how to stand,

  10. And you taught me how to eat.

  11. You also shared with me all the values that make you so special– kindness , forgiveness, honesty, persistence, thoughtfulness, And especially patience!

  12. Mom, is that you are the foundation upon which my character is built. And I just want to say thank you.

  13. Thank you for always making me feel so warm, safe, and loved.

  14. Thank you for giving me everything I need and then some to grow up and fulfill my potential.

  15. Thank you for teaching me to be brave and let me experience adventures.

  16. Thank you for being my full-time, on-call, and personal chauffeur from day one.

  17. Thank you for always sharing time with me.

  18. Thank you for your delicious home cooking and for packing me much love and nutrition into my lunch box day after day and year and year.

  19. Thank you for telling me I could grow up to be successful at anything I wanted if only I believed in myself the way you believed in me.

  20. Mom, I can’t tell you how much it meant to know you were always right beside me, urging me on to live my dreams.

  21. Frankly, I’d be lost without you, Mom, and I only wish I had more than one lifetime to repay the incredible debt I owe you.

  22. You guide me to face all the challenges of this world with patience.

  23. You also protect and carry me through hard times.

  24. I want to tell the whole wide world that MY MOM IS THE GREATEST MOM IN THE UNIVERSE!

  25. Because you are. Mom, thank you for everything that you have done for me!

  26. Thank you for our mother. We really appreciate your good works. May God bless you!! ~ Livingstone Children Department 2006
