  7. onomatopoeia • The Mac mad a smashing sound as it hit the ground • Actual sound of something are words of onomatopeia

  8. idiom • You hire it, you fire it • Don’t mean what it exactly says

  9. understatement • I’ll be there in a min • Expression with less strength than expected
