Entrusted to Teach First Year Teachers Second Year Teachers Mentor visits mentee once during the year Mentee will visit the mentor’s classroom or another class once during the year • Mentor will visit mentee’s classroom two times, in September and April • Mentee will visit the mentor’s classroom once

  5. Entrusted to Teach continued… • Communicate at least twice a month via phone, email etc. • Keep a journal of communications throughout the year • Mentor communicates with principal once a quarter • Communicates each month of the school year • Keep a journal of communications during the year

  10. Mentors Year One Mentees • We are in the process of assigning you mentors. Year Two Mentees Will be assigned the same mentors. A new mentor will be assigned if former mentor no longer works for SECC.
