  2. UNIFICATION • Due to the fixing of ‘THE LEG’, many Italians had hoped that their country would be strong again. I CAN KICK A BALL NOW! My Italian ‘ballon-ceps are so sexy baby!

  3. HOWEVER……… • There were so many problems that stood in the way……. Do I have to kick the ball…..MY TOE HURTS!!! Will you stupid politicians get the hell out of my church?! The LAND IS MINE….

  4. Then…… • Along came three groups with solutions……. I’VE GOT IT MAN!

The Futurists • These fellows believed that it was history that prevented Italy from being great - meaning Italians were so proud of their past they paid no attention to the future. • Leader: Filippo Marinetti • They believed in war/violence and a total modern society. Long live war, the worlds best hygiene! Julius Caesar. What a PIMP! Want some?

The Nationalists • These dudes also believed that war and violence would strengthen Italy’s position. • They believed in a completed and united Italy without foreign interference – aiming to get back the areas which were taken from them by their neighbors. • They had a tremendous amount of supporters…. • Leader: Enrico Carradini: ‘ We shall never be a nation without a war!’ In your dreams daddy-o! I want my land back you twat! (Austria)

The Socialists • They were another group who believed in violence. • However they did not have a pleasant view upon war – they believed it would harm the economy and would have a major effect on the working class. • Inventor: Karl Marx Sharing is caring.
