Key Stage 4 Performance 2019 - Positive performance for Year 11 pupils this summer - Brecon High School achieved 23.6% of all grades being A/A* (this is the highest performance in Powys) - A* 6.4%, A 17.2%, B 23.2%, C 22.4%, D 14.6%, E 8%, F 4.2%, G 2% - A*-A 23.6% (6.6% above the Powys average) - A*-B 46.8% (7.3% above the Powys average) - A*-C 69.1% (4.1% above the Powys average) - A*-G 98% (in-line with the Powys average) - Average grades performance is above the Powys average

Key Stage 5 Performance 2019 - Positive performance for Sixth Form pupils this summer - 100% of pupils secured their first or second choice of University or location of study- A* 5.2%, A 17.2%, B 27.6%, C 31%, D 10.3%, E 5.2% - A*-A 22.4% (1.5% below the Powys average) - A*-B 50% (in-line with the Powys average) - A*-C 81% (6% above the Powys average) - A*- E 96.6% (in-line with the Powys average) - Level 3 Threshold 100% (3.7% above the Powys average) - 2 or more grades A* - C 87% (12.1% above the Powys average) - 3 or more grades A* - C 65.2% 10.3% above the Powys average) - 3 or more A* - A grades 13% (10.3% above the Powys average)

The government target is for 1 million Welsh speakers by 2050 As we live in Wales it makes sense to be able to speak the language of the country. CymraegydyiaithCymru. ByddsiaradCymraeg yn helpu yn y dyfodol, yn enwediggydaswyddi. More and more employers are asking for Welsh today.
