Solution 2) Use admin account to install the latest updates of QuickBooks • On the server, open the Windows Start menu. • Type “QuickBooks” into the search box and right-click the icon of QuickBooks Desktop. • From the drop-down menu, select the Run as administrator option. • On the No Company Open window, choose the Help menu. • From the drop-down menu, select the Update QuickBooks Desktop option. • Choose the Options tab and then hit the Mark All button.

Click the Save button on the Options tab. • Move on to the Update Now tab and then checkmark the Reset Update checkbox. • After implementing the steps mentioned above, hit the Get Updates button. • Once you are done downloading the QuickBooks updates, close QuickBooks Desktop. • Open QuickBooks Desktop again and choose the Yes option to install the updates you downloaded. • Once you are done installing the QuickBooks updates, reboot your computer.
