  6. What I found out from each site! Wind westerly. This was the joint windiest location because the wind blew across an open field. Surface condition was wet grass and muddy. Wind northerly. This wasn’t as windy as most of the others as it had shelter. Surface condition was dry and wet pavement. Wind northerly. This was not as windy as there was buildings blocking the wind but at the open spaces there was wind. Surface condition was wet tarmac. Wind south-easterly. This was a little wind but not very as there was buildings blocking some of the wind. Surface condition was wet grass .

  7. What I found from each site! Wind north-easterly. It was not very windy as there was lots of huts blocking the wind and there was a little bit of shelter. The surface condition was dry and wet pavement. Wind north-westerly. There was some wind from north western side as the other side was blocked by M-Block. Surface condition was wet pavement. There was no wind direction. There was so much shelter we couldn’t measure or feel the wind. Making it the least windiest site. The surface condition was dry pavement.

  8. What I found from each site! Wind northerly. There was quite a lot of wind from the northern side as the southern side blocked the wind with the sports hall. Surface condition wet pavement Wind easterly. It was joint site windiest as there was a massive gush of wind from the east when we measured the wind speed. I don’t think it is the most windiest site overall but when we experimented at that time it was the most windiest time! Surface condition was wet tarmac . Wind Easterly. There was hardly any wind as there was mostly shelter. Surface conditions were dry but a little wet pavement.

  9. Conclusion- Microclimate is... • When the climate in a small area is different to the general surroundings it is called a microclimate.

  10. Conclusion- What places in Hayes School were what... I discovered that around Hayes school the windiest place was the field because the wind from the west blew across an open field with no building blockage. The warmest place was C-Block because there was around 95% shelter and at the time the sun was shining directly at it (when the sun eventually came out and it did because this was our last experiment and at that time it was generally more warmer).

  11. Conclusion- What places in Hayes School were what... • The driest was also C-Block because there was around 95% shelter and there wasn’t much gaps for the rain to get in. The surface condition was also the driest. • Finally, the coldest place was outside P.E because there was a lot of wind blowing northerly. Also the sports hall was next to where we experimented, therefore there was a bit of shade.
