  1. Iraq War: Current Events By Matt Rodd Period 3

  2. To date… • There have been 4,287 American deaths. However, a total of 30,182 have been reportedly wounded. Iraqi soldiers and civilian deaths have hit very high in the hundreds of thousands, and numbers could top 1 million in just civilian deaths.

  3. Most important information to Know • The economic cost have without a doubt toppled over 2 trillion dollars and is continuing to rise, as well as the death toll of both sides of the war. The war cost is going to continue to rise until the end of the war.

  4. Lessons • This movie defiantly showed that even when you have the right intensions towards helping, whether it’s a country or single person, things may not go the way you want them to. In the movie, the army helped out a lot, but not to far in after the beginning of the war, the looting and destruction of important places began, like the library archives that were burned down.

  5. Documentary • http://youtu.be/x107ELBn93U

  6. What is Currently Happening Over In Iraq • In Iraq, there is still worries of terrorism, and terrorist figures such as Bin Laden (deceased) and Gaddafi (deceased). As far as Iraq as a country goes, it has improved quite a bit since the beginning of the war, however, there's always problems over there weapons, terrorists, and many other issues.

  7. No end in Site • When we watched “ No End in Site” I got angered by some of the speeches that were used such as the one guy that referred to the vases. In my opinion, there’s more pressing matters than the vases in Iraq. However, I did like when the marines spoke about what they liked and didn’t like because it showed that even though they fought for their country, they gave their opinion of what they could have done better as a team.
