Research Article • 1) This article is about parasites causing people to die; Courtney Nash from Florida was an unfortunate recipient of this amoeba parasite.2)People need to be aware of the effects that this parasite has, especially those who spend their time near lakes and rivers.3)This article is very relevant to science because it is dealing with Ameoba parasites and the impact that it plays on the human body in addition to how they grow and develop in the water.4)I think that this article is very interesting because I am the same age as Courtney and to think that you can die so young just because you are enjoying yourself in the warm weather lakeside is tragic; she was having harmless fun and it ended up deadly. 5)I was attracted to this article due to the fact that many people spend their time in the water in the summer time, and some people are probably not even aware of the parasites that lay beneath the surface of the water.
