  4. What is Spirituality? “It is what is deepest in us – what gives us direction, motivation. It is what enables a person to survive bad times, to be strong, to overcome difficulties, to become themselves”

Spirituality means different things to different people: Religion or Faith Meaning & Direction / Life Journey A way of understanding the world and your place in it Belief in a higher being or force greater than any individual Your centre or soul – What makes you human! A feeling of belonging or connectedness The search for wholeness, fulfilment, hope or harmony A sense that there is more to life than material possessions
