  11. Imagine… Someone in your class is regularly saying unkind things about the way you look. They have been doing this for a few weeks. In pairs, role-play this situation. Think about: • How this would make you feel. • What you could do in this situation.

  12. What can you do if you’re being bullied? 1. Say something strong, but not rude back to the bully.

  13. Think about… Something that someone has said to you which you didn’t like. In pairs practice replying to this in a strong way – without being rude. For example, you could say: “So? What’s your problem?” “I don’t like what you’re saying.” “That’s so boring.”

  14. What can you do if you’re being bullied? • Tell someone. Who might you want to tell? Who do you think would be a good person to talk to?

  15. What can you do if you’re being bullied? 3. Remember how great you are! Stand up tall and smile. Practice walking around the room standing up tall with your head held high. Smile at the people you pass.

  16. What can you do if you’re being bullied? 4. Take a friend or family member with you if you in new or difficult situations.

  17. What can we do if we see someone being bullied? • Tell a teacher, parent or another adult. • Tell the person bullying to stop what they are saying or doing (you can do this on your own or with a friend). • Call the person being bullied over. Ask them to play with you or ask them about what’s been happening.
