This book shows off the brutality of the French revolution and the everyday life of the Busson family. • Bio of the author Mary McCarthy: • She was born in Seatle,Washington .She was raised by her grandparents. Started writing in the early 1930’s. Her work is noted for its precise prose and its mixture of autobiography and fiction. McCarthy was a member of the National Institute of Arts and Letters. She won the National Medal for Literature and the Edward MacDowell Medal in 1984. McCarthy died of lung cancer on October 25, 1989 at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

He is the only player to win league MVP honors in both the National and American Leagues. He won the Triple crown, was a member of two teams that won the World Series (the 1966 and 1970 Baltimore Orioles), and amassed the fourth-most career home runs at the time of his retirement (he is currently ninth).he was later elected into the hall of fame.

Graduating from Harvard in 1940, he entered the Navy In 1943. He married Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12, 1953. In 1956 Kennedy almost gained the Democratic nomination for Vice President, and four years later was a first-ballot nominee for President. His famous quote was “ask not what your country can do for you ,but what you can do for your country. “President Kennedy fought for equal rights for all Americans. He called for new equal rights legislation. He wished America to resume its old mission as the first nation dedicated to the revolution of human rights. President Kennedy holds one of the highest approval ratings at 85%.The Vietnam war was still going on at the time.1963 was a surprisingly good year when it came to economy even thought it was forecasted to be bad, but it was a year of good, steady growth. Unfortunately on November 22, 1963, when he was hardly past his first thousand days in office, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was killed by an assassin's bullets as his motorcade wound through Dallas, Texas. This was a big blow to the entire nation. After this on November 22, 1963, when Kennedy was assassinated, Johnson was sworn in as President.
