  33. 2. Riskknowledge, a main PPP issue

  34. 2.1. Present situation of NatCatriskknowledge in FR • Public hazarddata are a main input to insurancemarket, throughMRN hazard / riskknowledge management tools : • Observatories of public hazard data coverage, exposure, public preventionpoliciesefficiency • Services to the insurancecompanies • Launching of a National Observatoryfor Natural Risks (ONRN), as a main imput for DRR governancedecisionmaking, with public/privatestakeholders • Data sets coverage & qualityevaluation, sharing & dissemination, • Hazard/Riskmapping, « open source » modellingmethodologiesand decisionmakingtoolsdevelopment& uses
