  1. Susan Katz About Susan Katz

  2. 4th place • Susan Katz got 4th place for the war poetry contest that is really cool for poetry that is hard to get into the top ten.

  3. Susan Katz • She earned a masters degree in biology three decades ago but now she is a freelance writer ,journalist , editor and writing program for people who normally don’t have access to educational opportunities.

  4. Susan Katz • My favorite poem by Susan Katz Walking tree and here it is. More than anything else, I think I’d like to watch this palm setting out on a hike. It’s long, skinny trunk isn’t planted in the ground so it can walk around. Instead of legs, it grows roots like stilts, and it edges along as each of them wilts. Yet I’ve stood here peering for half a day, And even the fronds at the top didn’t sway. I can’t see it move though I stare and stare, but ten years from now, it will be over there.

  5. Where she lives • She said I am amateur oboist and live with my dog, Carlea, and cat, Noah, in Vancouver, BC.

  6. Susan Katz born • She was born in Jan. 17, 1945 and her hobbies are walking, animals, powwows, botanizing. • She is 66 years old that is not so old at all for an poet.
