The Legend • Lorelei, a mermaid, sat on the rocks and sang very beautiful songs • combed her long blond hair and sang so beautifully that everyone looked up to her • sailors forgot about navigating the ship and drowned there • a lot of people died and so the bishop convicted her • she was forced to move into a convent • on the way she wanted to see her rock again, then she jumped into the Rhine
