  1. James Gardner My goals as a peer mentor are to provide each mentee with the same support that I received from my Peer Mentor. I will be an open resource to help my mentees through the Freshman Engineering Program as well as other aspects of adjusting to the college environment. I will help with any problems that arise during this adjustment, as well as give advice from someone who has made this journey before. My name is James Gardner and I graduated from Cabot High School in Cabot, AR. I am a senior Civil Engineering student and I am also pursuing my minor in General Business. I have one younger brother, JD, in 11th grade at Cabot High School, and the sweetest 13 year old Golden Retriever you’ll ever meet (Meg). As for my hobbies, I have a passion for the outdoors. If I’m outside, I’m happy. I especially love hunting and fishing throughout the Natural State.
