  1. Level Level Wc I can count with others up to 5. I can use numbers to 5 in games and activities. I can count to 3 and make sets of 3 objects. I understand the words more and fewer. I can use 1p coins, for example in shopping games for items to 5p. With some help and encouragement, I join in with new number rhymes, songs, stories and games. Level Wb I can count with others up to 10. I can count at least 5 objects. I am beginning to name numbers from 1 to 5. I am beginning to use the words more or less and to find the bigger or smaller group. I am able to ‘add one’ and ‘take one’ when using objects. Level Wa I am beginning to count up to ten objects and join in when counting with other children beyond ten. With other children, I can count on from a small number. I am beginning to recognise the numbers 1 to 9 and match them to sets of objects. I can add one and take one away from a set of objects. I am beginning to use the words first, second and third. I can estimate a small number and check by counting. Level 2c I can count on in ones from any two digit number. I can count back from any two digit number. I can read numbers up to 50. I can write numbers up to 50. I can order numbers to 50. I can say a number that is ten more than another number. I can say a number that is ten less than another number. I know addition facts to 10. I understand addition. I can use different words that mean adding up. I understand subtraction. I can use different words that mean taking away. I can work out problems in my head and tell my teacher how I did them. Level 2b I can count on and back in ones and tens from any two digit number to 100. I can describe and finish odd and even number patterns. I can count in 2s, 5s, and 10s forwards and backwards. I can answer simple problems using adding and taking away and can explain how I solved them. Level 2a I can count in 100 from any 2 digit number to 1000. I can name simple fractions such as a half and quarter. I can find the fraction of a shape. I am beginning to find the fraction of a number. I can use and understand + - =. I can read numbers up to 20. I can write numbers up to 20. I can put numbers up to 20 in order. I can say the number that is 1 more or less than a number to 20. I can carry out multiplication and division of numbers involving decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 and explain their effect. I can carry out multiplication of a three digit number by a two digit number. Level 5b I am beginning to solve simple problems involving ratio and proportion. I understand and use terms such as highest common factor, highest common multiple, lowest common factor and lowest common multiple. I can identify and use parallel lines. I can calculate volume using practical apparatus. I can identify types of angles including right, acute, obtuse and reflex.
