  2. INTRODUCTION Our society has countless youth with unemployment. Even though the students go to school and earn degrees, the majority of them are not able to acquire a suitable career. Below are some of the major skills and mindsets students should definitely know in order to meet their full potential.

  3. Entrepreneurship Today’s society has a tendency to start small businesses. So conducting a career counselling for students to have a mindset of entrepreneurship quality will help the students to build innovation, a strong knowledge of the industry or market, and adaptability in business. These are all skills for future jobs that are useful in any career path.

  4. Emotional Intelligence In order to be successful in your career, emotional strength is very important. There is a common understanding that those who succeed career wise will not have any emotions and they are only focusing on their career. So it is very important to teach them how to control emotions.

  5. Digital literacy The students should have a base of knowledge and skills to use technology in today’s world. Digital Literacy provides the foundation for it. Familiarity with technology and technology devices will help prepare students for responsibilities in the workforce.

  6. Citizenship It is necessary for the students to understand the role of globalisation in society to become successful in business. The technological advancements will make the companies to do business easily all over the world.

  7. Curiosity In order to become successful in this rapidly changing business environment, the students should have a love for what they do or what they learn along with a sense of curiosity. Ongoing learning is an important requirement for most careers, so that people can keep up with technological advances.
