Brief history • Thierry Mugler, launched his label in 1974 – 2003 • Collection Types: RTW, Couture. • He is a French author, fashion designer, photographer. • He showed his first collection for women called "Café de Paris". • In 1973 Mugler started designing under his own label in partnership with Alain Cardeuc. • In 1992 Mugler introduced a couture line which ran until 2000.

Prints were banished: Mugler's clothes came in solid, dominating colours. Collars had exaggerated points or flame like cut-outs.
