  4. Paper Format • Typed, white paper, black ink • 1 inch margins • Font Arial/New Times Roman • Size 12 • Double spaced (except heading) • Heading (Name, Date, US History, “Current Event Article”) • Do Not Double Space Heading • “Tommy’s Title” Must have title, size 12

  5. Content • Three paragraphs • Synopsis • Opinion • DWP Connection

  6. Synopsis • A condensed summary, abstract • In your own words • Do not copy from article

  7. Opinion • Give your personal feelings on the article • Choose an article that interests you

  8. DWP Connection • What DWP skills are needed in this situation or problem • Minimum two skills

  9. Grading • 20 points • 8 pts format • 12 pts content • 4 Synopsis • 4 Opinion • 4 DWP connection

  10. Misc. • No briefs • Article attached to review (stapled) • Will be assigned on Mondays due Friday • Friday will be oral presentations
