  3. The Piano The piano is a musical instrument played by means of a keyboard. It is one of the most popular instruments in the world.

  4. The First Piano The piano is founded on earlier technological innovations. The first string instruments with struck strings were the hammered dulcimers.

  5. Who Can Play ? Almost anybody can play the piano from kids to elderly and even the blind.

  6. Music Played Widely used in classical music for solo performances, ensemble use, chamber music and accompaniment , the piano is also very popular as an aid to composing and rehearsal.

  7. Used in What Music? Every Type of music uses the piano in some way except for heavy metal. To the right is rapper Shyne playing the piano for a song.

  8. Advancements Now we have keyboards, computers and even cell phones that can play the same tunes as the piano

  9. Without The Piano Without the piano there would be no good music as there is today. We would be very miserable people
