  2. Current test bed Current Test bed ( inherited from MANTICORE 2) HEAnet JUNIPER M20 (JUNOS 10.0R1.18 ) NORDUnet JUNIPER M10 (JUNOS 10.0R1.18 ) JUNIPER T320 (JUNOS 10.0R2.8 ) Objectives in MANTICORE 2: To develop a software to handle routers under an IaaS (Infraestructure as a Service) architecture

  3. Test bed in MANTYCHORE FP7 Objectives in MANTYCHORE FP7 To provide virtual research communities with a service that can improve their research activities To be able to provide integrated services at levels 1-3 to the research community To establish a marketplace where all Infrastructure Providers can announce their available resources To add new features and capabilities at MANTYCHORE FP7

  4. Test bed in MANTYCHORE FP7 How is it possible to reach these objectives? What is necessary?

  5. Test bed in MANTYCHORE FP7 To add new devices to the test bed Specifications Virtualization at routers and physical interfaces (creation of logical interfaces) JUNIPER with JunOS 10.0R1.18 or higher direct access with SSH Tobuild a test bedwhichwillbeableto test all use cases Complex BGP and policyconfigurations VPN and firewalls configurations To extent test bed to provide a better and more useful service to the research community Add new compatible routers (JUNIPER routers) Include future compatible routers (CISCO models)

  6. Test bed in MANTYCHORE FP7 Specifications Creation of virtual router instances Physical interfaces and logical interfaces Logical interfaces are limited JUNIPER with JunOS 10.0R1.18 or higher CISCO with WSMA. We are working on getting wsma ready releases Direct access via SSH/WS. Think on a feature you need Think the minimum setup for that feature That’s the testbed need to implement it!
