How useful is Meetup? • Meetup connects people with special interests. • When talking about types of social networks, Meetup.com is a community of friends but could also be classified as an issue-focused network. • One can see that Meetup will be popular in the future for business meetings or for further education in a certain topic one needs to be a better employee. • Meetup is a unique site in the sense that there is no other social networking site that connects people through topic specific meetings. Only other sites that are specifically for meeting people face to face are online dating sites
