One example regarding our assumed character may be as follow: • “LORD VOLDEMORT, the most evil wizard for hundred years is a raging psychopath. He has no feelings for human companionship and believes that no one is superior to him”. • Thesis statement: Your thesis statement should be as such that it explains both the strength and weakness about character. See an example below: • “He is extremely powerful and intelligent, but he is too arrogant that lead him to his downfall”.

  6. Step 2 • Body Paragraphs: Since, your thesis statement is comprised of strength and weakness of the character; therefore, the body of your character essay should follow 2 paragraphs; one for strength and one for weakness: • Paragraph 1:It should focus on the strength of a character that you have chosen. Here is the road map that you should follow to compose your 1st body paragraph: • Topic Sentence: It should be composed in such a way that explains the strengths of a character in brief. An example may be as follow: • “LORD VOLDEMORT is both powerful and intelligent”

  7. Utilizing a Quotation: Your quotation should be a complete thought that clearly defines your point of view.
