  6. WATER BODIES IN LATVIA • Rivers 12,4 thousand Overall length 38 thousand km Density of rivers 600 m/km2 Daugava ( in Latvia 352 km, total 1005 km), Daugavas RB- 24,7 thousand km2. • Lakes 3000 Total space 1149 km2 or 1,7% of Latvia territory. In East Latvia - 40% of all Latvia lakes
