  7. Laboratory Rules & Safety • Wash all equipment after each lab. • Never smell chemicals unless instructed. • Do not do your own experiments. • Students are never allowed in the storage areas without specific permission. • Know what to do in an accident. • Handle all living organisms humanly.

  8. Laboratory Rules & Safety • Any sharp instruments should be carried pointing downward to avoid accidents. • Report any accident immediately. • If a chemical splashes in your eyes use the eye wash ASAP. • If you or your lab partner yell out “CODE ONE”
