    3. Eligibility for Participation

    4. Two Stages

    6. DP Stage Parents If to apply, not more than two participating secondary schools, otherwise the chance of acquiring a DP will be forfeited Application is not subject to restriction on districts

    7. CA Stage After the deduction of repeater and discretionary places, the remaining places in a secondary school are used for CA: 10% for Part A Unrestricted School Choices (choose a maximum of three schools from any school nets, including the student’s own net) 90% for Part B Restricted School Choices (choose a maximum of 30 schools from the student’s own net)

    22. Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA)

    23. The Aim of implementing the TSA To test students’ performances at the Basic Competency level. Schools could make good use of the assessment data of TSA to improve the learning and teaching environment in their schools.

(ii) To provide the Government and school management with information on schools’ standards in key learning areas of Chinese, English and Mathematics The Government would be able to provide support to those schools in need and monitor the education policies..
