  1. AOS Progress Sorry for the power point, all the pictures just made this the easier method

  2. Elastin-Keratin Mat(the best one) This was spun using our normal solution for about 45 minutes total from a pasteur pipette. The mat was spun a 10 cm, 16 kV.The solution had to be stopped every 3 minutes or so, the tip unclogged on the pipette, and the voltage restarted. We plan to use a syringe next time to fix this issue.

  3. Elastin Mat(with Urea) This mat was spun to see if we could spin the mat without keratin(meaning keratin was causing the solution issues. It was successful , but as shown by the previous slide, not in a meaningful way. This mat was spun at 10 cm, 15 kV, for about 15 minutes from a syringe pump with flow rate .006 ml/mn

  4. Elastin only Mat This mat was also run for testing purposes to see if the urea was the problem with the solution. This mat was not spun for nearly as long as some of the other samples, probably only about 10 minutes, but was used to determine the 10 cm, 16 kV spinning parameters. This mat was spun from a syringe pump with a flow rate of .004 ml/mn
