  2. Goals: • For Understanding: Teachers will understand • Two types of vocabulary to teach • Two, or more, techniques • Research basis for vocab instruction • The following vocabulary terms: • Metastudy, effect size, Thayer Model, Word Wall, action research

  3. Goals • For Teacher Action: Teachers will… • Set group norms around PLC work • Define a “problem of practice” to research • Decide on initial action steps • Choose appropriate eval. Tools • List tasks to be completed for our next meeting • Set a next PLC meeting time for this research
