  2. Europe's View of the Colonies Thought of them as ‘property’. Grew crops in the Colonies to be sent back to Europe. The Mother (Britian) country made the for the decisions for the Colonies.

  3. Colonies View of Europe Not loyal to the Mother country (Britian) Loyal to the Colonists not the British. The British made too many restrictions about what the Colonies could do.

  4. Stamp Act For every piece of paper you used you paid a tax. The stamp act was put into place on Nov. 1, 1765 If you were a British tax collector you probably would get tarred and feather by the colonists.

  5. Intolerable Acts Passed by Parliament in 1774. Closed the port of Boston until the East India Company was paid for the lost tea. No barracks for the British Solders. Went on until March 24 1776

  6. Tea Act The tea act was passed in 1773. People cut taxes to the tea workers for tea taxes raised taxes for tea for the people who bought tea. Raised the price on tea for the colonists.

  7. Boston Massacre Shooting of five Colonists. Happened on March 5,1770. Colonist were throwing snowballs and sticks at British. General said “Don’t fire” one solider heard “Fire” and shot.

  8. Boston Tea Party Group called ‘Sons of Liberty’. The Sons of Liberty wanted some bad to happen to the British. Closed the port of Boston until the East India company was paid for the lost tea. The Colonist were angry because the British wound only buy their tea.
