Time Saving PowerPoint Features • If using slide Masters from another presentation: • Go to other Presentation, select View Tab • Select Slide Master • Go to the slide sorter (left side of screen) • Press CTRL + A to select all Master Slides ORHold down CTRL > Left click on wanted Master Slides • Close Master View • Go to new presentation and select View Tab • Select Slide Master • To paste slides and keep formatting, right click in slide sorter and select Paste “Keep Source Formatting” icon. • Close Master View • 3. Time Saving PowerPoint Features • INSERTas few text boxes as possible on each slide • Use fonts and colors that are easy to read • To change all fonts/colors on a slide, press CTRL+A (selects all text boxes and other objects) then pick font/color • Make sure the font size is large enough to see in a conference or meeting room (start at 28 point and don’t be afraid to go larger). • Avoid using too many different fonts • Use bold, underline, italics sparingly to call out key information • 3.
