TCAP Campaign

This campaign aims to increase awareness of TCAP's services in Lafayette by implementing various tactics such as creating and delivering infographics, bookmarks, coloring pages, and blog posts to dentists, daycares, pediatric doctors' offices, birthing classes, and Greater Lafayette families. The goal is to reach 50 views on TCAP's website by April 28th.

Research and SWOT 120WaterAudit Strengths TCAP is a non-profit that is well known in the Lafayette community They are aware of their weaknesses and want to improve Weaknesses People do not know about TCAP services and that they are a mediator for other public services They are not specific about the services they offer to the public Opportunities They just had their website redone by a graphic designer April is Child Abuse Prevention Month so that can raise a lot of awareness and bring traffic to the website Threats The lack of information about their services could be seen as TCAP is not credible Publics just assume that TCAP can be utilized only if there is thought to be a child being abused

Tippecanoe County Abuse Prevention Council Mission Statement The mission of Tippecanoe Child Abuse Prevention Council is to positively impact the prevention of child abuse through education and awareness, while enhancing the quality of life for families in Tippecanoe County. We strive to educate the community as well as provide fun activities to promote healthy family relationships. In addition to April’s events, we also host events in the summer and fall.   5. Objective To educate the publics about TCAP and its services by having the traffic of the TCAP website reach 50 views by April 28th.

Strategy We will target Dentists, Daycares and Pediatric Doctors Offices by Creating and Delivering an infographic for the office and coloring sheet for the waiting room to bring awareness to TCAP and increase traffic to the website We will target Birthing classes by Creating and Delivering bookmarks for mothers to pick up to learn more about Safe Sleep and to direct them to the website We will target Greater Lafayette families by Creating blog posts for TCAP to post to raise awareness about their educational aspect

  8. Communication Plan Create a coloring page with the website at the bottom to distribute to Dentists, Daycares and Doctors to set in their waiting room. Create a digital and print infographic to distribute to Doctors so they know more about TCAPs services to offer to their patients. Create a bookmark to distribute to Birthing Classes for their front desk for mothers to pick up and know about TCAP services. Write blogs for TCAP to use on their website to raise awareness about the services they provide.

  11. Evaluation Did we meet our objective? Results are forthcoming Set backs Short Campaign Did not get the prints from the client until a week after we were supposed to implement The tactics had to be edited longer than expected Moving forward TCAP is equipped with print and electronic deliverables distributed throughout Greater Lafayette to increase awareness of TCAP services and to keep increasing traffic to their website
