  2. Malevolent • Having or exhibiting ill-will POS– Adjective What character was Scout describing in the first chapter of TKAM? Inside the house live a malevolent phantom. Was he really malevolent? Think of a malevolent character.

  3. Malicious: • Malicious: deliberately harmful POS– Adjective Social media can sometimes lead to malicious behavior. Other forms: Adverb - maliciously

  4. Miscreant: • A villain POS – Noun Although Bob Ewell showed some malicious behavior earlier in the novel, his attempt to harm Scout and Jem proved that he was a true miscreant.

  14. Unflappable • Persistently calm; not easily upset or excited • Adjective • Charlie’s unflappable nature will be an asset when he becomes a first responder. No one wants a hysterical person like _________ responding to a emergency.
