  3. Procedure for Beginner Students - Score within the mid to high-beginner range on the ELS placement test = ELS-PREP Course. - Score below = Continuing Education which prepares for re-testing into ELS-PREP Course.

  4. ELS-PREP Course at PCCC Offering intensive, academically focused accelerated learning sessions for mid to high-beginner students seeking entrance into the ELS credit program ***************************************

  5. ELS-PREP Course Overview - 2-week sessions, 4 hours per day, Monday thru Friday - 4-week sessions, 3 hours per day, Monday thru Thursday - Sessions held prior to and during each semester. - Integrated reading, writing, listening, speaking skills lessons

  6. Upon Completion: - Enter the ELS credit program at the 020 level or - Attend one more intensive ELS-PREP session to raise their scores.

ELS-PREP Guidelines for Students Course Libguide:pccc.libguides.com/elsprep Book:ELS-PREP Reading & Writing Challenge • Books can be purchased at the PCCC Bookstore. • Please arrive to class on time and prepared. • This course is academically oriented with a focus on writing skills. You will not just be learning “Survival” English.
