  2. My intent for this project was to show that women go through the same routine, work as hard, and play as hard as men do (in terms of American football). I wanted to shine light onto the IWFL so it can gain popularity because I feel that these women are an empowerment to young women. I wanted to reveal that this is REAL FOOTBALL and these woman play for the love of the sport, not to be exploited or hypersexualized objects to men. I have additional footage that I would like to do additional projects and attend future games. Not only have these woman been an inspiration to me, but by me following they’re season, it can help me acquire the skills needed to pursue a career in sportscasting. ENJOY!
