  1. Educational Games Summary Vinay Reddy

  2. Samarost 2 • This game is about a gnome who goes on a long quest to save his kidnapped dog. • This game could be used in the classroom to demonstrate how one thing leads to another and that you should go to extreme events to find your dog. • I think Samarost 2 is a good challenging game, althought the graphics and sounds are very basic, they still complement the game well and it creates a good scene for you to play.

  4. Summary Alphabet Whack-a-mole State the State U.S Geography game. Objective is to correctly identify the state using the multi-choice interface. • Spelling game. • Moles pop up from holes, holding a letter. • Objective is to whack [click on] the moles in alphabetical order.

  5. Intended Audience Alphabet Whack-a-mole State the State Late primary school through to intermediate. Appropriate for males and females. • “Aimed at ages pre-K through middle school.” • Appropriate for both Males and Females.

  6. Academic benefit Alphabet Whack-a-mole State the State Helps children with their knowledge of states in U.S.A. Not much relevance to NZ students but would be very helpful for US students. • Good for young children to remember the alphabet and the chronology of the letters. • Can be developed by timing how quickly they complete the game. This would show improvement in knowledge of the alphabet.

  7. Review Alphabet Whack-a-mole State the State I believe this is a very good game, especially for children having difficulties in US geography. It’s not a very exciting game Like alphabet whack-a-mole, children will start to find it boring and would want to move on to another game quickly. • I believe this game is a good, basic game for young children. • I think it will get very boring quickly and after a short period of time, the kids would want to change.
